Services that Make a Difference
Individuals with autism require specialized assistance and training in order to maximize access to social, educational, vocational and family activities.
With individualized support, amazing things can happen.
Individuals learn to more effectively communicate, better care for themselves, develop relationships with those around them and lead more fulfilling lives in nearly every aspect.
Habilitation and Respite
Our in home services are designed to provide support to individuals with disabilities and their families to allow them to live in their family homes as long as possible. Services are designed to assist individuals in acquiring, retaining and improving the self-help, socialization and adaptive skills necessary to reside successfully in home and community-based settings. Services include teaching and supporting to independent living skills, special developmental skills, sensorimotor development and behavioral management. Respite is short term care and supervision consistent with the health needs of the person to supplement and/or to support or relieve caregivers.
The best indicator of a high quality of life is the ability of a person to work in a productive job, earn money, and spend their money in the manner in which they choose. Echoing Hope Ranch places a high value on assisting people with autism in paid and unpaid (volunteer) employment opportunities. Each person’s program is based on his or her specific interests and needs and is driven by an Individual Support Plan (ISP) that outlines measurable, observable goals. (Currently available in Cochise County only.)
EHR day programs are based on an agricultural model where the program participants are provided with an opportunity to work with the animals or in the gardens, swim, hike, exercise and work on crafting in the daytime. Program participants will raise chickens for egg production and potentially goats for milk which can be used in making caramels, lotions and soaps.
